Purrfect Companions, Inc. is a New York State Not-For-Profit Corporation, tax exempt Corporation with (501(c)(3) tax exempt status, staffed and operated by individuals with many years of experience caring for rescued cats and kittens.

The Purrfect Companions mission is:

• to provide quality, nurturing foster care to stray, injured, homeless and abused cats and kittens in a healthful and supportive environment until their health is restored and they can be adopted into a permanent home

• to provide information to the public regarding animal health, behavior and welfare matters 

• to spay and neuter, to reduce the number of unwanted companion animals who are needlessly abandoned and euthanized

All cats and kittens offered for adoption by Purrfect Companions are spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV (feline leukemia) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and have been given age appropriate vaccinations. A written veterinary service and vaccination record, including deworming and flea treatment information is provided for each cat, together with a short biographical sketch and description of personality, food preferences, habits and other relevant information.

Purrfect Companions exists through voluntary donations, fundraising activities and the collection of modest adoption fees.
