Letter from Dom's PurrParents

We had three cats in April, all of whom were turning eight this year. Their personalities were different, but fairly compatible, and we figured we had the maximum number of felines the household could tolerate.
Then, we walked into a pet store, where Purrfect Companions was having an adoption clinic. I haven't the faintest idea why, but something about the look on one kitty's face said that he had to come home with me RIGHT NOW. So, after some discussion with my other half, we adopted little black short-haired Dom.
We have not regretted this decision at all. Our middle-aged cats weren't terribly happy with us, but Dom's excellent disposition helped them grow accustomed to him. The cat we feared would be the biggest problem was actually the first to like Dom!

Dom is beautiful, sweet, and an absolute delight. He sings as he walks around the apartment. He's as talkative as a Siamese, but his voice is sweet and trilling. He keeps the older cats active, and he makes us laugh often.

His long legs, long tail (which arches upward and forward, toward his head), and his incredible agility remind us of a lemur walks, so he has earned the nickname, "Monkey". We also end up calling him Dominick, Domino, and Dominator when we're in our silly moments.

He has a lot of confidence, and he trusts his people very much. We are very proud to have him as a part of our family, and we are thankful to Purrfect Companions for being in the right place at the right time for Dom to join us.
