Letters from Freddy's PurrMom
I wanted to let you that Freddy has adjusted to our routine, though occasionally we think he wants a playmate in the middle of the night and we hear him meowing. He is not meowing loudly like he was the first week though. He is totally fascinated by the guinea pig and now jumps on top of his cage and watches him below. They sniff each other frequently and I have found Freddy putting his paw in the cage as if to pet the guinea pig. He has gained a pound or so since he arrived and has a hearty appetite.
Several weeks ago he had a little cold and eye infection, so we brought him to the vet, and it cleared up within the week. My son loves to play with him and they play tag and also "chase the catnip mouse," in which my son has tied a piece of string to and trails around the house. Freddy loves it. He has done some very acrobatic feats too that we are simply amazed at. Again, thanks for all your help and thank you for bringing Freddy into our lives.
