Letters from Angel's PurrMom
Was not at all happy being shut up in a room. She
does have a voice. The basement is finished and where we spend most of
out down time. Angel had the basement to herself last night and all is
well....no problems no complaints. I must tell you a funny one though.
While she was closed in the bathroom, (where I had put just everything
including toys galore) she got up on the toilet and carefully unrolled the
toilet paper leaving a neat pile on the floor. I laughed until tears rolled
down my face. That is what my best friends poodle does, only then she eats it.
Will keep you informed.
Thanks!!!!!!!
Sharon
Good morning Stephanie
Had my first forehead kisses
EVER last night. She now has the run of the house, flies through the air
with the greatest of ease and has absolutely no clue as to how big she
really is. Loves the window sills and the back of the sofa. One table,
near the window, must loose its lamp, at least for the time being.
No problems, much happiness
and lots of love live here and with Angel. (Who is no angel by the way!)
If you do not want play by
plays-just let me know. I am only thinking of you and the tears that were
on your cheeks.
Sharon
I give up! Please tell me how to shut off
the forehead kisses and her need to clean my hair at 3 in the morning.
She even opens the sliding closet doors and the entertainment center
glass bottoms by double clicking them and goes inside for a nap.....What
a stitch this kitty is.
Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sharon
I have never had a cat that was so curious before.
Everyone else is simply l a z y. We have several bouts of race and chase every
day. Conversations about going outside, but no devil stuff.
She has taken to helping my husband give voice
lessons. She is either on top of the piano, on the bench next to him of
rubbing against the students' legs. What a hoot she is. There must be
something in the vibrations.
No, you are NOT getting her back....come here and
visit!
Sharon!
It's definitely time for an update. Angel
has had a name change. It is now April. The reason you
ask....well......Yesterday was Easter Sunday and we went to our daughters for
dinner ( gone about 4 hours). Upon entry into the kitchen we found 3 lower
cupboards open and oil, maple syrup, along with several other bottles
that must have been in her way, on the floor. The other cupboards contained
pots/pans and mixing bowls. They were apparently to heavy to simply push out.
She was sound asleep, yep still in the cupboard.
Have answer to the vacuum. You are going to love
this one. She wanted to be vacuumed. Yes, she did honestly. I had the power
head off and doing the sofa where just everyone sleeps at one time or another,
(cats that is).
She nuzzled that head right up against the suction
and rolled on her side. Yes, I did run it all over her. She won't be leaving
any hair for at least an hour.
April because we picked her up on April 1.
More to follow, I have no doubt of that.
Sharon
Today marks our 4th week and she is the boss of
the house. Especially in the morning until someone gives her her treats to
start the day. What a dance we get!!!!! vocalizing and dancing purring and
rolling, then much more vocalizing. (we love her) She is never in another
room, always where we are. Greets friends at the door and must be petted.
(then lint brush)
She has flown past us to get outside several
times. When we go to retrieve her, she just stands there like it's a game. I
have been told that a squirt gun will stop that. With my luck, she will LOVE
water.
Always must spend time vacuuming her. Right now
she is over my shoulder talking, to be held. have not been able to nip those
nails. She will not allow me to touch her feet yet. She sounds like a
person following you down the stairs, down the hall or climbing on the sofa.
Loves to be walked around the house with her head way back to have her throat
itched. What a trip she is!
There are sounds she can hear......dog barking, at
times and the garage door opening. Yes, maybe it is the vibration. I choose
not to think so. She will let me clean out her ears as long as I don't
take too much time doing it....LOVES to be brushed. So, do we have the
same cat? Wish she would start playing, either with toys or her new
sisters. Noting as of yet. The hissing has stopped almost totally, even
at the dog. Much has happened to her in a month.....all good.
