My sweet, formerly feral Sarah, went to the Rainbow Bridge. Sarah developed a severe kidney infection about 3 weeks ago, and while we were successful in addressing many of the infection issues, she then developed what looked like a particularly nasty, fast growing tumor in her kidney. It was so large, you could actually see the kidney bulging, which of course you should never be able to do.

She passed peacefully under the care of Dr. Connor and the staff of the Ark Animal Hospital. 

 

Her time with me was all too short. She had become very loving and would come when I called her name, and would jump up into my lap to be cuddled and petted. Truly a remarkable turn around for a kitty who was born in the wild and lived there for at least 2 years before deciding to share her life with a human.
